Hiring equipment
Choose your dates on any equipment page or in the catalogue. The availability shown is calculated against real bookings, not a guess — if it says two are free, two are free.
As early as you can for weekends and event season. Same-day hire is sometimes possible; call us rather than relying on the website for anything urgent.
1. Equipment remains the property of Maxton Media Group at all times.
2. A security deposit is required before collection or delivery.
3. Late returns attract a late-return charge per day.
4. Any loss or damage is charged at the stated replacement value.
5. The hirer is responsible for the equipment for the full hire period.
Collection is from International House, 7th Floor, Mama Ngina Street, Nairobi CBD.
Please bring the booking reference and a national ID or passport.
Delivery within Nairobi is available at an additional fee. Upcountry delivery is quoted per job.
Yes. Where an operator or technician is available for an item you will see the option on its page and in the cart, with the daily rate.
Paying
Paystack (card, M-Pesa and bank) via the payment link we send you, or pay at our offices.
Office payments are accepted in cash or M-Pesa during office hours.
Yes. At checkout you can pay in full, pay a deposit to hold the equipment, or reserve now and pay at the office. The default deposit is 50% unless your booking says otherwise.
It means we are holding the equipment for you but it is not a confirmed booking yet. Reservations are held for 48 hours; after that the equipment goes back into the pool.
Yes, on equipment hire. The amount is shown on each item and on your booking, and it is refunded once the equipment comes back checked and undamaged.
Events and services
Send a brief through the quote form. We reply with an itemised quotation covering crew, equipment and timings, valid for 14 days.
That is the point of us. Event management, sound, photography, video, branding and DJs can all sit on one booking with one team responsible for the day.
Yes, subject to travel and logistics. Tell us the location in your brief and we will price it in.
